Your guide collects you from your accommodation in Maputo early in the morning for the scenic drive across the border to the Mantenga Cultural Village. Here, Swazi traditions come alive with a guided tour of the village and a vibrant traditional dance performance, with the option of a short walk to the beautiful Mantenga Falls. After lunch at the famous House on Fire at Malandela’s and a visit to the Swazi Candle Factory, you continue to Hlane Royal National Park – Eswatini’s largest protected area – for a sunset game drive as the golden light fades over the bush. Tonight you stay at the rustic Ndlovu Camp, surrounded by the sounds of the wild. Meals are at your own expense.

    Day 2

    Departure

    Rise early for a guided morning walk through Hlane Royal National Park. Accompanied by an experienced ranger, you explore the bush on foot, with fresh morning air and the chance to spot antelope, zebra and plenty of birdlife along the way. After lunch at the camp, head out on an afternoon rhino drive. Hlane is home to both white and black rhino, and sightings are almost guaranteed. In the late afternoon, you begin the journey back to Maputo, arriving in the early evening. Meals are at your own expense.
